Basic Requirements

  • Dedication of at least 24 hrs/week.
  • Good fluency in English speaking and writing (typing > 35 wpm).
  • Critical thinking skills, expressiveness, and team-oriented attitude.
  • And you have to care about the work that you do!
  • Residency in Malawi, Kenya, Namibia, Zambia, or Poland.
  • Experience with field work and coordination of field teams.
  • Fluency in multiple languages, including both English and local languages in the country of residence.
  • Emotional intelligence and strong face-to-face communications skills.
  • Experience and comfort with making public presentations.
  • High proficiency in speaking, reading, and composing clear and correct English.
  • English typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Strong logical reasoning and attention to detail.
  • Composing field reports and summaries.
  • Experience working with Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to listen carefully to our clients and communicate their desires accurately back to the team.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and optimization.

Nice to haves

  • Domain expertise, experience, or energetic interest in medicine and/or agriculture.
  • Some experience with monitoring and evaluation, or basic programming, or basic statistics (but not necessary).
  • Experience with video screencasting.

Work with us and contribute to these projects

Coordination and management of projects with our team, including malaria/HIV/COVID-19 surveillance, clinical trials, vaccine delivery, and agricultural experiments

Support QED applications by providing technical support (you will be trained) and assisting government officers with the regulation of data quality from the field. Identify problems, diagnose causes, and resolve or delegate them to appropriate staff with ticketing systems.
